Launch of NUHS Centre for Healthy Longevity
Launch of NUHS Centre for Healthy Longevity on 7 September 2022

The new NUHS Centre for Healthy Longevity (NUHS CHL) was launched by Deputy Prime Minister and Coordinating Minister for Economic Policies, Mr Heng Swee Keat. Poised to lead the Longevity Medicine field, NUHS CHL is the world's first integrated pre-clinical and clinical ageing research institute to prolong healthspan by delaying ageing. The pre-clinical laboratory model and clinical human research pipeline will focus on identifying, and treating biological hallmarks of disease.

The Centre also aims to launch the world's first Longevity Medicine clinic at Alexandra Hospital, focused on dietary, exercise and supplemental interventions to mitigate the adverse effects of ageing and extend individual's healthspan.
